This concrete manufacturing facility was a true test of application for
us. This project consisted of forty silos, 200 feet off the ground,
filled with concrete. Our field personnel had to be safety conscious at
all times. Hard hats, steel toed boots, long sleeve shirts, long pants,
safety glasses, and full body harnesses had to be worn everyday. First
the crews had to get the debris off the existing roof. Some of the silos
even had areas with ten feet plus thick of concrete which had to be jack
hammered off just to get to the existing built up roof. After all old
layers of roof were torn off and disposed of properly, then we applied a Fully Adhered Thermoplastic Single Ply Roof System. This
job was no doubt one of the most difficult projects we have ever been
faced with. |
